Hi, my name is Connor, and I'm a fantasy novelist with a special interest in the day-to-day lives of characters living in imaginary worlds—their small wins, petty grievances, and foolish dreams.I'm a recipient of a 2020 Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, which supported my development as a writer and funded a public reading of my work.In 2022, I hosted this public reading at Open Book, a center for reading, writing, and book arts in Minneapolis. The event, Myth is the Messenger, explored how the fantasy genre can help readers connect to their hidden emotional lives.In the deep past, I self-published an online serialized fantasy called Go Forth and a weekly blog called The Quiet Post.Currently, I'm working on a manuscript about deep sea leviathans. I live in Saint Paul, Minnesota with my dog, Kira. She is the best. [proof]
